Annie Jacobsen, Founder & Co-Owner
Assisted Transitions was established by Annie in 2005 as a service to take the stress and anxiety out of one of the most frustrating tasks of all: MOVING. Her Masters degree in Organizational Development (with a focus on Change Management and Family Systems) defines the core principles upon which Assisted Transitions was founded. Too often people get overwhelmed with the physical aspects of a move and fail to adequately address the emotional issues. Annie's extensive experience in event production, counseling, mediation and conflict resolution ensure that your belongings will arrive in their new home safe and secure, without the emotional turmoil typically associated with relocation. Since her teens, Annie has been known among friends and family as the "go-to gal" when life gets overwhelming, so Annie has made it her life's work to bring order and calm to the traditionally chaotic and stressful process of moving.

Laurie Christomos, Co-Owner
Having moved more times in the past 20 years than most people do in a lifetime, Co–Owner of Assisted Transitions, Laurie Christomos, decided it was time to put that knowledge and her love of organization to work on a daily basis. It's the one–on–one with their clients that Laurie loves most; helping individuals and families find relief and even a bit of fun in what most people see as a chaotic and stressful situation. Laurie, Annie and the rest of the Assisted Transitions team, are passionate about their work and love the fact that there is an almost immediate sense of relief once they're able to speak with prospective clients and provide them with solutions to their particular project.
